Can everyone be on broadway nowadays?

Nicole Richie’s father may be Lionel Richie, but this is one star that people have a hard time believing that she can be singer.

All over the celebrity gossip sites, such as Perez Hilton and Pop Crunch, states that there are rumors of the new mom and girlfriend of Joel Madden, playing the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago!

Richie is apparently a trained musician as well as a dancer. She is seriously considering in moving to New York City with boyfriend Joel Madden and their daughter to make this really happen!

I really want to know how the outcome of this will be.

I first found about Sara Bareilles from a free itunes gift card that I received from Starbucks.

Thank God I did because she is so good! Sara is a gifted singer who is most known for her song titled, “Love Song”. Her album called “Little Voice”, was released this year and includes songs about her past relationships, her inner battles with trusting her instincts, and her insecurities. Right now she is on VH1’s You Oughta Know tour with James Blunt. So if you’re in the area you better check her out ASAP! Or check out one of her songs right here and get a feel for her music!

Jack Johnson has decided to say goodbye to his bright pop tunes from his previous soundtrack, Curious George. His new CD, “Sleep Through The Static”, includes a different type of emotion. It almost sounds a bit darker than before and he is much more mellow in this soundtrack than before.

If you want to stay inside a rainy or gloomy day, this soundtrack is the way to go. Check out his single, “If I Had Eyes”.

Girls Aloud are a British girl group created in the year 2002 by a talent show Popstars: The Rivals. The group consists of five girls, Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh. Despite the fact that not many groups that come out of a talent show become successful, i.e. Danity Kane and O-town, Girls Aloud are one of the most popular British pop groups of the decade!

Their new single and released music video “Can’t Speak French” is all the rave. Girls Aloud are not afraid to challenge pop music. They know how to make music fun. Critics love them and so do the fans. No wonder they are known as the best girl group that UK has ever seen! Even Perez Hilton agrees that they are the “HOTTEST girl group on the planet”!

Here’s their latest single:

You may know her from her famous cover of Rihanna’s Umbrella. It was so good that it was even featured an episode of MTV show, “The Hills“.

While watching my weekly dose of “The Hills”, a year ago and after hearing Digby’s cover of Umbrella, I had to see who was singing it. I looked her up on youtube and from there discovered how talented of a musician she was.

Her music comes from her experiences in her own life that can relate to many audiences. Her voice is somewhat airy and carries a very light ambiance in which you can listen to her on a rainy or a very calm peaceful morning.

She started off as a youtube artist just posting up videos of herself singing and now she’s come as far as performing for the talk show “Late Call With Carson Daly” to having her first official single “Say it Again” which was released recently on January 18, 2008. Her debut album Unfold” is to be released on April 9, 2008.

You can check her out on her youtube site or even better her debut album site!

Here’s her song “Unfold”, enjoy!

Fresh, remarkable, and genuine.

Those are just a few words to describe Kina Grannis. This singer/songwriter started to put videos up on youtube for a Superbowl contest. Little did she know that her dreams would come true.

Her music is light and easy to listen to. The first song she wrote, “Message From Your Heart”, was aired in a Superbowl commercial sponsored by Doritos. She recently signed a contract with Interscope Records and is ready to make it big. She’s already won the hearts of all the youtube viewers!

Watch the “Message From Your Heart” music video and you will see who everyone is talking about! She is definitely a talented girl who can not only sing but win over fans with her charm.

This weblog is dedicated to music, all different kinds!

I didn’t want to keep my passion for music to myself but rather share it with the whole world! I’ve decided to use this weblog to show and write about famous artists, rising artists, foreign artists…etc.

I’m very excited about this site and hopefully my excitement and my passion for music will help others to share the same love for music that I have.
